What started in Jasie's spare bedroom has grown into a community-driven effort serving dozens of NW Houston families every month.
We gather clothing, diapers, wipes, baby gear, hygiene products, and everyday essentials from community donors.
Families request what they need, and we match them with available items — delivered directly or picked up at events.
We create a space where asking for help feels safe, giving feels personal, and every family is welcomed with dignity.

What started in one room has outgrown every corner. A permanent storefront would let families browse and choose what they need in a clean, welcoming, dignified space — like a store, but everything is free.

My name is Jasie. I'm a wife, a mother, and a proud grandmother — and I've always had a heart for helping others. Giving back and making a difference in someone's life has always been important to me, and that passion is what led me to create The Giving Room.
I built The Giving Room to support women and families who may be going through difficult times — providing free clothing and essential items in a welcoming, respectful environment. My goal is to make sure every person who comes to us feels valued, supported, and cared for.
What started in a spare bedroom is growing into something much bigger. My dream is to one day open a storefront where any parent, grandparent, foster parent, or kinship caregiver with children can come and receive the basic essentials she and her family deserve. I want it to be a place of hope, dignity, and community support.
