The Giving Room supports NW Houston-area parents, caregivers, and families with clothing, diapers, wipes, baby items, and everyday essentials — all free, always.
What started in Jasie's spare bedroom has grown into a community-driven effort serving dozens of NW Houston families every month.
We gather clothing, diapers, wipes, baby gear, hygiene products, and everyday essentials from community donors.
Families come to our Community Days or reach out to us, and we match them with what's available.
We create a space where asking for help feels safe, giving feels personal, and every family is welcomed with dignity.

Starting Thursday, November 5, we'll be at Juergen's Hall twice a month. Come pick up clothing and essentials for your family, or bring donations to share. It's kid-friendly, and women in our community are welcome too, with or without kids.
Meet Myisha Johnson, our Humble neighborhood closet coordinator. The Humble Little Closet serves women, babies, and bigger kids, connecting local families with free clothing and essentials as donations come in.

My name is Jasie. I'm a wife, a mother, and a proud grandmother — and I've always had a heart for helping others. Giving back and making a difference in someone's life has always been important to me, and that passion is what led me to create The Giving Room.
I built The Giving Room to support women and families who may be going through difficult times — providing free clothing and essential items in a welcoming, respectful environment. My goal is to make sure every person who comes to us feels valued, supported, and cared for.
What started in a spare bedroom is growing into something much bigger. My dream is to one day open a storefront where any parent, grandparent, foster parent, or kinship caregiver with children can come and receive the basic essentials she and her family deserve. I want it to be a place of hope, dignity, and community support.
